ARRI Lighting and Cameras will share tips on “more than 3 point
lighting” with
Arri lights. Apple Pro Applications specialist Elijah Lewis will help us understand Compressor. The DV Rebels Guide author and special effects wizard, Stu Maschwitz will demo and speak about his films (with their cool effects). Rick Vertolli, from CSU, Chico, is a specialist in Animation. Rick will present a session and demo reels to show how animations/animated graphics can strengthen a project. We’ll hear from Noise Industries’, Nancy Schopoff. Noise Industries makes visual effects for digital video-both for AVID and FCP
Prof. Robert W. Gore,
a professor in the Theatre Arts and Film dept. at
Sacramento City College is a certified trainer for Apple’s
Motion,
DVD Studio Pro,
FCP,
and
Graphics Level 1.
By June he hopes to be 'Master Certified' as a trainer in the whole
Final Cut Studio
suite. Professor Gore will show us some tips and tricks
with
FCP.
Sacramento City College is
going through the certification process
and will soon be a certified Apple training Center
for all the Final Cut Studio Pro Apps.
Eileen Healy, from Chimera Lighting, will shows us how to use their lights for the best results. Don Youngberg, from LOWELL, will present a mini-seminar on lighting with LOWELL lighting. Bob L. Smith, Creative Director and CEO of Bongo Post & Music will join us to share how best to plan for and process “Visuals and Sound” within our projects. John Diel (from Telestream) comes back to teach us how to create the best looking files for Blu-Ray or iPod, or iPhone, or Flash. Also, he'll show us how to add the best filters and prep files for Broadcast, Podcast and for the Web. The Infamous Tim Walton showing tips and tricks with FCP using parts of his productions, “ THE GOLDEN GAME: The History of Baseball in Sacramento” and/or “FROZEN IN TIME: Sacramento's Iceland Ice Rink”.
